Knights and Dames

The Knights and Dames of the Order of the Mystical Rose is an ecumenical lay ministry of the Order of the Mystical Rose. It is a fraternal organization or a "service club."

Establish a local Chapter (i.e. Commandery) in your church today to help promote the outreach and growth of your church.

The Knights and Dames practice chivalry and piety. They seek to better their local communities and strengthen the family as a building block of society.

Ancient knights were armed with swords, but the weapon of the Knights and Dames of the Order of the Mystical Rose is the Rosary or prayer beads.

The “uniform” of the Knight or Dame of the OMR is to be first and foremost righteousness and good works and this will always remain more important than any uniform made of earthy materials. We are working to create an official uniform consisting of a gold robe and red cape. Pictures will be posted when this is available.

Clergy who become members of the Knights and Dames of the Order of the Mystical Rose do not thereby become members of the OMR clergy and may not represent themselves as such.

The highest honor awarded by the Knights and Dames of the Order of the Mystical Rose is Knight or Dame Grand Cross. This honor is awarded to those individuals who oversee the Knight and Dame Commanders of an area.

This honor may also awarded to individuals in recognition of their contributions to society and humanity. These individuals may be of any race, religion or creed. If they desire they may establish Commanderies to continue good works in their community or area of expertise. However they are under no obligation to do such.

We are happy to have good fraternal relations with other reputable organizations of good will that provide services or benefits to humanity.
